ONE DAY IN THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL MUSEUM IN PRAGUE

I will tell you about a museum today.  As you can imagine, I am absolutely non-technical person and I was reserved when we entered the National Technical Museum.  But my opinion changed as soon as I entered the first hall with all those retro cars from the 40s and 50s with their beautiful forms. The collection there is very exhaustive with plenty of Tatra, Aero, Praga, Mercedes cars including the car of the first Czech president Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk.

I loved the Praga motorbikes, which I never knew that existed. 

If you are keen on photography like I am you’ll definitely like the photo atelier where is described the history of the photography with lovely examples. My love of the vintage furniture was also nourished in the architectural section of the museum, where I found this lovely office.

много искам да ви разкажа за един страхотен музей в прага. аз като една тотално нетехническа натура, първоначално пристъпих резервирано към първата изложбена зала, където ме чакаха безброй ретро автомобили и мотоциклети. е, няма как да остана равнодушна към любимите ми автомобили от 40-те, 50-те години и техните красиви форми. толкова пълна е колекцията от татри, мерцедеси, че там се намира включително автомобилът на първият чешки президент томаш масарик. 

много харесах и мотоциклетите прага, за чието съществуване изобщо не предполагах. 

ако и вие като мен обожавате фотографията, то фотографското студио със сигурност е за вас. тук можете да се запознаете с историята на фотографията, с ясни примери и точна хронология. просто прекрасно. 

и любовта ми към старите мебели остана възнаградена в раздела за архитектура, където открих този чудесен офис. 

сега вече стана ясно, къде съм прекарала аз своята неделя - в компанията на толкова много прекрасни експонати. а как вие прекарахте деня?

i am sorry for the silence here in the last couple of days but i was doing some slight redesign – i hope you’ll like it. 

today, quite by accident i found a very creative poster of mr. perswall. i think the idea is great, despite the fact that it could have been done better from design point of view.

извинявам се за почти двудневната тишина тук и тържествено обещавам да съм по-редовна вече. всъщност не бях оставила съвсем настрана блога, а се занимавах с редизайн и се надявам да ви харесва и да ви е по-приятен престоя тук с новите дрешки на 79 идеи. 

днес съвсем случайно попаднах на един много креативен постер от mr. perswall. въпреки, че изпълнението определено може да е по-добро според моето мнение, идеята е фантастична, нали?

DRAMATIC LOOK WITH DARK WALLS, WOOD, LEATHER AND COPPER

it was a busy, busy day and just now i find few minutes to show you what inspired me today. did you notice how popular is the copper nowadays? in almost every catalogue and magazine you can find copper accessories and lights. and see how beautiful everything is when you combine copper with wood, leather and dark walls. it creates such an interesting quite dramatic look. 

this combination was basic also for this stunning photo session shoot by jake curtis for house and garden magazine.

забелязали ли сте колко модерен е бронзът напоследък? в почти всеки каталог и списание можете да откриете аксесоари и цветове в този металичен нюанс. и вижте колко красиво всичко се получава, когато се комбинира мед с дърво и кожа и тъмни стени. създава се толкова интересен и дори малко драматичен ефект.

with the coming of the autumn, most of the interesting companies for interior and design launched new collections and it is very interesting for me to track their ideas and trends. one of my favorite brands with a style of their own is the british “cox & cox”. this year again they have very impressive new scores. among the things that impressed me are the new oak furniture and the marvelous leather collection. i selected my four favorite products from it.

Gorgeous family farm in Sweden

my fairy american vacation is over and i’ll be back to share more often here inspiring things that i find every day. 

as a start i want to show you an incredible house. this beautiful farm in sweden was built in 1885 and even though it has been renovated many beautiful elements from that time were preserved. i personally like the floors and the ceilings, most of them look like made of raw wood. the light there is amazing too and it plays well with the white walls.

моята приказна американска ваканция приключи и аз отново ще се навъртам по-често тук с идеята да споделям с вас вдъхновяващите неща, които срещам всеки ден. като за начало искам да ви покажа една изключителна къща. тази красива ферма в швеция е построена през 1885г. макар и реновирана е запазила много красиви елементи от онова време. аз лично особено много харесвам подовете и таваните, повечето със запазен цвят на сурово дърво. светлината тук е изключително красива и тя добре се заиграва с белите стени.
