Stepping Out of the Comfort Zone // Да излезеш от комфортната си зона

Today I’ve had a more exciting Sunday than usual because with my friend Dana we organized some small photo shoot in my bedroom. 

I usually don’t shoot people. They move too fast, make faces and talk a lot :) – I just can’t capture them in the way I want.  I recently attended “Christina Greve Master Class” and thanks to my wonderful teacher Christina Greve I am more determined to step out of my comfort zone (shooting flowers and objects). 

I tortured Dana for 2 hours - first she had to endure my make-up skills, then my diffident posing instructions. I am sure I still have to learn a lot, but I believe that one can achieve anything with the necessary dose of determination. It is important to overcome your fears and make the first step.

I am curious, how often do you step out of your comfort zone?

Днес беше малко по-вълнуваща неделя от обикновено, защото с моята приятелка Дана си организирахме малка фотосесия у дома в спалнята. 

Обикновено аз не снимам хора. Те мърдат твърде бързо, правят физиономии и говорят много :) и аз просто не успявам да ги заснема по начина, по който бих искала. Наскоро аз се включих в “Christina Greve Master Class” и благодарение на моят страхотен учител Christina Greve  аз съм по-решена да изляза от своята комфортна зона да снимам цветя и предмети. Аз измъчвах моята приятелка Дана повече от два часа - първоначално тя трябваше да изтърпи неловките ми опити да я гримирам, а след това и да преживее моите наставления относно позирането. 

Сигурна съм, че имам още много да се уча, но вярвам че  човек може да постигне всичко с необходимата доза усърдие и целеустременост. В този смисъл е важно да пребориш страховете си и да направиш първата малка крачка. Аз днес направих своята. 

Любопитно ми е, колко често вие излизате извън своята комфортна зона?

DIY: Make Your Own Golden Easter Eggs // Направете си сами златни великденски яйца

Easter is knocking on the door and I bet many of you look for inspirations how to lend color to the holiday celebration. Therefore I have a quick and pretty suitable idea. As you probably have noticed the bronze and the golden are quite popular these days.  So grab a bronze or golden spray, spray few eggs and let them dry. Even more interesting is if you spray eggs, which you can use for a mini vase. Break them a little on the top, use what is inside and the rest you can just paint in your favorite color.  When you put some fresh flowers in your mini vase, like me with that cute Lilly of the Valleys it looks really amazing.

P.S. Most probably the spray that you will use is not approved to be used on food, so please do not consume the eggs that you paint with it, they are only for decorative purposes.

Великден вече чука на вратата и съм сигурна, че вече се оглеждате за вдъхновения за празнична декорация. В тази връзка имам една бърза и актуална идея. Както може би сте забелязали, бронзовото и златното са много популярни тези дни. Така че вземете бронзов или златен спрей, боядисайте няколко яйца и ги оставете да изсъхнат. За да се получи още по интересно, можете да боядисате и яйца, които да използвате като мини вазички. Счупете ги внимателно в горната част, използвайте по предназначение това, което е вътре, а черупката боядисайте в избрания от вас цвят. Когато поставите свежи цветя в тези мини вазички, аз например използвах стръкчета момина сълза, се получава просто чудесно. 

П.С. Най-вероятно спреят, който ще използвате няма да е хранителна боя, затова моля не консумирайте яйцата, които сте боядисали по този начин.

New Outdoor Ideas by IKEA // Нови идеи за градината от ИКЕА

I would like to tell you about an interesting event on which I was invited yesterday. Despite the cloudy day, IKEA presented their brand new outdoor collection. Quite originally the whole event was in a beautiful apartment in the center of Prague, which was rented and decorated especially for the occasion.  In its small garden we were able to see IKEA’s new outdoor furniture.

I personally like a lot the fresh combination of blue and orange, used in some of the furniture and the textile accessories. I was impressed also by the beautiful arm-chair HÖGSTEN and the cute SKARPÖ. Here are some of the products which I liked.

Бих искала да ви разкажа за едно симпатично събитие, което посетих вчера. Въпреки навъсеният ден ИКЕА Чехия организира представяне на новостите във своята градинска колекция. Доста оригинално представянето протече в красив апартамент в централната част на Прага, специално наето за случая. В неговата малка градинка бяха разположени и новите мебели на ИКЕА. 

Аз лично много харесах веселата комбинация от синьо и оранжево, използвана при някои от мебелите и текстилните аксесоари, както и красивото кресло HÖGSTEN и симпатичните SKARPÖ. Ето и някои от продуктите, които лично аз най-много си харесах.

What an amazing way to finish the working week with this gorgeous photosesion from the January lookbook of "Free People". The bohemian style together with the freedom from the ride gave me great mood and I was truly inspired.
