SMALL AND CUTE APARTMENT IN PRAGUE

hey how are you today? finally the long-awaited friday came in one of the worst weeks of the year. i read recently that according to some research, the first week after the christmas and new year is one of the most depressing of the year. i hope this is not true and you have had a great week.

when you read these lines, probably i will be on my way to a very interesting event in dresden, germany, where i and the soffa team will meet talented designers from germany and the czech republic. but i will tell you about that some another time.

now to stay on the same wave i suggest you to look at the apartment of two talented architects of the czech republic - martin neruda and jana štastna ....  . in addition they have one of the nicest prague apartments that i have ever seen, arranged with great taste. also these people are very special to me and the whole team of soffa, because they believed in us and allowed us to make their home a real battlefield for one day (the day when we styled and photographed everything). actually the whole day of shooting was very pleasant and here is the result. i hope while looking at the pictures you will be able to feel the beautiful soft light in the house that makes it so special.

хей как сте днес? най-накрая дойде дългоочаквания петък на една от най-тежките седмици. четох наскоро, че според някакво изследване, първата седмица след Коледните и новогодишните празници е една от най-депресиращите през годината. надявам се това изобщо да не е така и да сте имали една чудесна седмица. 

докато вие четете тези редове, аз всъщност пътувам към едно много интересно събитие в дрезден, където ще се срещнат талантливи дизайнери от германия и чехия. затова обаче ще ви разказвам друг път. 

но все пак, за да останем на същата вълна ви предлагам да надникнете в апартамента на двама талантливи архитекти от чехия - мартин неруда и яна щастна. освен че притежават един от най-приятните пражки апартаменти, които аз съм виждала, подреден с много вкус, те са и много специални за мен и за целия екип на соффа, защото повярваха в нас и ни позволиха да превърнем жилището им за един ден в бойно поле. всъщност целия снимачен ден беше много приятен и ето резултата. надявам се чрез снимките да усетите прекрасната мека светлина в жилището, която го прави така специално.

BEAUTIFUL MIX IN THE KITCHEN

 
i know that some of the materials used in this kitchen are not so "trendy" anymore or we saw them so many times last year that probably some of us are already tired of them... but i still love the tolix chairs, the glass, the concrete and the wood. i so desperately want a real wooden dining table.. the texture, the imperfect shapes are so attractive to me. anyway, i found this lovely mix of materials and shapes beautiful and i hope you will like it too.

зная, че някой от материалите в тази кухня,  вече никак не са "модерни" или поне сме ги виждали толкова пъти през изминалата година, че сигурно някой от вас са се поуморили от тях,... но аз все така харесвам tolix столовете, стъклото, бетона и дървото. и толкова отчаяно ми се иска да имам трапезна маса, не лакирана, чиято дървена тукстура да бъде истинска и неподправена, с неперфектна форма. но както и да е, намирам това смесване от материали за красиво и се надявам да ви хареса и на вас.

WHITE AND WOOD

my love for white rooms in combination with wood and black details probably will continue even in the new year. the elements in this vacation house are perfect for my taste and the light is awesomely captured by the camera of the talented photographer terence chin.

моята любов към стаи, в които преобладава бялото в комбинация с дърво и черно продължава в пълна сила и през новата година. детайлите в тази къща са перфектно подбрани според моя вкус, а светлината е перфектно уловена от камерата на terence chin.

long long time ago i told you about the work of the talented author and stylist from australia jason grant. in 2011 he really impressed me with few ideas that he created as stylish workplaces especially for "philosophy". and now i discovered his lovely home in “homelife” and I thought I’d share it with you. you can find there some interesting design pieces, cute ideas and plenty of light.

много много отдавна ви бях споменавала за талантливия автор и стилист от австралия jason grant. през 2011г. той ме впечатли със своите идеи при създаването на стилни работни пространства за компанията "philosophy". и сега открих неговия чуден дом в homelife и бързам да ви го покажа. тук можете да откриете няколко интересни предмети на съвремения дизайн, симпатични идеи и много светлина.

MODERN VINTAGE

few fresh ideas at the beginning of the year coming from the home department of the swedish company h&m. in their collection you will probably notice pop colors and graphical shapes, as well as products that add industrial finish, subtle colors and rustic charm. these are my most favorite of all.

няколко свежи идеи в началото на годината идват от шведската компания h&m home.в колекциите се забелазват както искрящи цветове и графични решения, така и продукти, които да внесат индустриално докосване и рустикален чар. лично на мен именно колекцията modern vintage ми хареса най-много.

WINTER PRAGUE

some friends visited for the holidays so i spent some time walking with them around the touristic places of prague and i have to admit that i liked it. there is still no snow here and the weather is relatively warm. even though i am not a fan of the cold weather i hope we'll get some snow finally and everything around will be white and beautiful.

няколко приятели ме посетиха за празниците и прекарах известно време разхождайки се из прага като турист и да си призная ми хареса. тук все още няма сняг и времето е значително топло, пролетно. въпреки че не обичам студа искрено се надявам зимата най-накрая да пристигне и да боядиса всичко в бяло.

MY AMERICAN ADVENTURE

hello my lovely friends on the other side of the screen and happy new year. 

the first days of the year here were a bit quiet because i wanted to finish my small magazine with photos and stories about my journey in the usa. from august to september 2013 i visited the united states and this was one of the most impressive adventures in my life. if you are curious what i've seen there and where i've been, you can check out my little magazine. i hope you will enjoy it and be inspired too.

първите дни от 2014 бяха мъничко тихи тук, защото исках да завърша моето малко списание с фотографии и думи за моето пътешествие в америка. през август и септември 2013 аз посетих съединените щати и това бе едно от най-впечатляващите приключения в живота ми. ако сте любопитни за това, къде се скитах и какво видях, моля чувствайте се свободни да разлистите моето малко списание. надявам се, че ще ви хареса и ще ви вдъхнови.
