EXPLORING BULGARIA: OLD PLOVDIV

I’m sorry for the radio silence here, but I dedicated my last week to traveling and relaxation. I visited some interesting places in my home country Bulgaria and I would love to share with you few pictures from Plovdiv. I spent one day there with my girlfriends chitchatting and walking around. It was amazing day full of joy, laughter and some gossips :). I like this place a lot. It has a small, cute streets, old Bulgarian style houses and great atmosphere.

LIFE LESSON: IT IS ALWAYS HARD TO SAY GOODBYE

Hello everyone. How was your weekend? 

If have to be completely honest my weekend was a bit hard. I finally put off my pink glasses and realized that moving has also a bad side. The hardest part is to leave your favorite people behind. Yes, we will still be friends forever… but a whole big ocean will separate us and in the best case we will see each other two times per year. Huh.

I still don’t know how I will survive through all this. One of the hardest things for me is to say goodbye. And for all this nine years in the Czech Republic I have so many important people for me to whom I’ll have to say goodbye. And I really don’t like goodbyes as I said already. I simply don’t like when people are sad. 

Besides those dark thoughts I did some scouting for my shooting on Thursday and I discovered a really nice park nearby and here are some pictures from it. Everything now is so green and pretty. The sun is shining and we shouldn’t be sad anymore right?

I’m pretty excited for the upcoming month because I’m planning to spend it in Bulgaria. Visiting some pretty nice places and the traditional roses festival. If you remembered I mentioned it few months ago.

ARE YOU READY FOR EASTER?

I love Easter. It is one of my favorite holidays because unlike Christmas the spring is already here and the weather is warmer, or at least it should be. In my country Bulgaria where the people are mostly Orthodox Christians we don’t hide and seek eggs but instead we fight with them. Opponents smash their eggs into each other with the egg left unbroken proclaimed the winner. The winning egg is kept until next Easter and is a sign of good luck and health. 

So today I’m planning to paint my eggs and make them beautiful. And for now I’m still collecting ideas how to do it. What are your plans?

OUTFITS INSPIRED BY INTERIORS

Sometime ago I was involved in a very nice project - Outfits inspired by Interiors. The popular Czech blogger Nika from Pleasure Seeker dressed inspired by two beautiful Scandinavian interiors: one in lovely pink and the other dominated by the warm textile and the grey color. I love Nika’s choice. I love how she tastefully combined the pink color with the golden jewelry. I just adore the gorgeous black boots in the pink outfit and how perfectly they suit to the stylish handbag. The grey outfit is also really pretty too and I love the layering there.

TWO EASTER EGGS TUTORIALS

Most probably I won’t have the time to do an Easter eggs tutorial this year so I decided to remind you of something old... but gold :) Actually I don’t have just one but two ideas (still 77 to go if I want to comply with the name of the blog, but I'll work on that). The first one I call “the golden eggs”. But you can spray your eggs with copper if you want or even silver.

The second idea is the Earth eggs. And you can see the procedure here.

WHITE RANUNCULUSES

Let me share with you my beautiful part of the day - few white ranunculus. I admit that this is one of my most favorite flowers - just like the peonies, snowdrops and the rose bushes. Unfortunately to find these pretty flowers in Prague is very difficult, but today I got lucky.

WOODEN STAMPS FOR YOUR PRESENTATION

Nowadays, everyone needs presentation and it is not only for business purposes but it could be a more casual card with contact information. some time ago I published on my Instagram stamps that I ordered for "79ideas" and for my photography business and I received so many questions about it so I decided that this information could probably be helpful for others. 

My opinion is that stamps are the most universal and cheapest way to create a good presentation of yourself or your business. You can use it in your packaging if you have an online shop like those on Etsy, Dawanda, Bigcartel or any others. You can simply apply it to a paper label and thus support your presentation. Easily the stamp could help you also with some documents, business cards and even a contract or serious business correspondence. 

I personally prefer the old wooden stamps. They are so beautiful and also could be used as a decoration for my working space.

MY DRAMATIC CORNER AT HOME

I live in a small apartment in Prague. For a long time I wanted to have in my living area a corner with darker walls where I can create a more dramatic portraits. Last week I worked on that and finally I created my dreamt corner and I can't hide that I really like it.
