Small summer cottage in Sweden

Sometimes the simple things are the most beautiful and delightful ones. When you see the small red cottage built in 1930 and later transformed as a summer house you can't think about anything else but the wild and pretty life, close to the nature.

Cute Retro Kitchen //

What about making retro kitchen at home? A blue retro kitchen to be more precise. I know that the idea is not for every taste, but it is so cute and creative. To achieve a good result you just have to choose very carefully the furniture from the decade that you like. Nowadays it is even easier because on the market you can easily find modern electronics with vintage design (I will mention here my favorite Delonghi Icona vintage for which I wrote before). Also there is dinnerware from those decades and you can easily use simple retro cans and bottles as a decoration.

Few stylish ideas for home //

Today I came across a few wonderful and stylish home ideas and I would like to share them with you. For me personally, the most important thing in order to have a welcoming home is the presence of natural light. The Australian journal of HomeLife has added more than ten different suggestions about it and you can see them here.

Amongst all of them I would stress the idea of respecting the old. You do not always need to invest in new items and accessories, some old are really charming and could be even more beautiful than the new. The wooden floor never gets old and looks very stylish. And the idea of beautiful cabinet boxes surely you've already seen a million times. It is not new, but the tree in combination with white and natural light is so attractive.
